Exploring Underrates Microsoft Applications

Microsoft Suite is a comprehensive collection of distinctive applications that make day-to-day business processes easier and more efficient. Although numerous businesses are already making the most out of Microsoft applications, there are a few apps that often go ignored.

With that being said, this article explores three such underrated applications that are all part of the 365 package:

  • Microsoft Power Automate

  • Microsoft Loop Component

  • Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Power Automate

This application was previously known as Microsoft Flow. Power Automate is a cloud-based application that makes use of Artificial Intelligence and Low Code to help automate your processes. The application aims to simplify the day-to-day tasks by automation and workflows. It works across an extensive range of devices and browsers.

A few simple examples of automation workflows by Power Automate may include:

  • Receiving real-time alerts for critical and important emails so you don’t miss out on anything crucial.

  • Automate the flow of employees’ birthday celebration messages.

  • Automate the email of weekly work reports.

Microsoft Loop

This application is an extensive platform that makes the collaboration process over documents or content easier than ever. Microsoft Loop also incorporates Copilot (Microsoft AI assistant) to make the collaboration seamless. The idea is to be able to share Loop components (document, email, chat, or such) in Loop workspaces (shared space for the whole team to collaborate on a specific project) to ease the task management processes.

Microsoft Loop is integrated across all the other MS 365 platforms and is a part of the Microsoft 365 suite. This means that you don’t need to install this application separately as you can make use of its features right inside your existing apps like MS Outlook, MS Teams, and such.

Microsoft Authenticator

This MS 365 application comes as an Android and iOS mobile app. Microsoft Authenticator helps enable two-factor authentication across all MS applications. Using the app, businesses can enable secure sign-ins for multiple employee accounts. Along with Multi-Factor Authentication, MS Authenticator comes with the ability to go passwordless and be your password autofill manager.

Microsoft Authenticator is a part of the Microsoft 365 suite.

So, are you now ready to tick the box of the one you may have left aside until now?
